Year 2007: How has it beenn to you???

And now, the Year is about to be an HISTORY, just like a 'yersterday', It is almost rolled-up and thrown into the ditch. . . . just like every other past years: '. . . . .2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 200***',

Some conversations I heard over the Radio some days back, brought this question to my memory. . .
"How has the year been to you?". As I sat down, reflecting my actions and reactions from the month of January to December, I cannot but have a mixed feeling of sadness and joy, because, On one side of the year, it has been tremendously wonderful and I wished every other moments were like it. But, alas, I got it wrong.

In the year 2007, [although, it isn't over yet, until it is over]. . . I have had it sweet and sour, I have had some goals achieved and others 'just there', I have had my heart pained and gladdened, I have had my share of excitement and sobberness!!! Life has been fair and unfair!

As a youth-lover, I love to live life and let others live too. It has been my desire this year, to reach out to the disadvantaged youths in the Remand Home, Motherless Homes etc. and celebrate this Christmas/Festive Moments with them, Share some love with them etc. But, when i consider some other factors (especially finance), I see it as almost impossible, except. . . a miracle happens. lol. .

I long for a better 2008, where More of my Dreams and Aspirations would come TRUE. I look forward to greater commitment in affecting lives in my Local Community. I really look forward to being AN AGENT OF POSITIVE CHANGE.

I PRAY YEAR 2008, BE BETTER, GLORIOUS AND GOAL-GETTING IN EVERY RAMIFICATIONS!

Wow. . .It's December

Wow! it is December already. . . and in few more days this year will roll away, paving the way for another new year 2008! Oops! what an eventful year it has been, What a recountable one indeed!. . . .We started the year with full expectation of great things but now in less than 29 days the year would be GONE. . . .. . . It's really been a mixture of the bitter and the sweet, sadness and Joy, moans of pain and song of Pleasure. . . testimonies of successes and challenges of failures, dasys of plenty and periods of want, realisation of dreams and disappointments in others. . . .etc. But Thank God, we've come through it all by His matchless grace. . . .


And as this year is coming to a close. . . . .Do remember to relax. . .don't get caught up in the chaos, make a warm cup of tea, spend time with your loved ones and . . .Never let go of your dreams. . . .the year 2008 is a brand new year and you've got all it takes to sail through it.
