YOUTHS and the Crimes They Commit.

Have you ever wondered why young people commit crimes and live a life of wrecklessness?. They live as though life is "nothing" to them and as such, they engage in social vices which are detrimental and unhealthy to their soul. Drug addition, Rape, Gangsters, Murder, Assassin, Burglary, Rapes, Thefts, Violence etc these seem to be the order of the day as good behaviour is becoming a fade! These insane behaviour call for prompt attention and intervention because for us to have a safer community and better world, they must be controlled, they must be tamed, they must be well-guided.

In my country Nigeria, in Western Africa, the youths are not exempted from these criminal charges, as daily reports unveil this. More so, a recent visit to the juvenile delinquents in the Remand home in one of the States revealed the high rate of criminal charges amongst young people even toddlers! Then, the question is, what are the factors responsible for these and how can they (youths) be tamed?

These criminal behaviour is definitely uncalled for and at such it should be controlled. As a youth leader, it pains my heart when I read about young people commiting crimes and living below expectation, My utmost desire is to raise a generation of purpose-driven youth and as much as possible everywhere I go, I encourage young people to live a better live, to abstain from drugs, to commit no crime, to believe in themselves and in their future regardless of present difficulties (e.g Poverty, Famine, Hunger) for the future belongs to those who dare to dream.

Tackling youth crime is a priority not only for the government but every concerned heart. Most importantly, parents should Strengthen their relationshiop with the children. It's no gainsay that present parenting style is drooping as parents spend more time in offices, workplaces than with their children. This stucks greatly and helps widden the parent-child relationship. The family is the basic unity of the society, within which each member learns best what it means to be a human person. It is a place where each human person is carefully taught by the family how to behave responsibly, to commit, to share, and to love. But, due to economic hardship and the struggle to make ends meet in most Countries, parents/Guardians are gradually becoming negligent of these duties hence, the young ones are left under the influence of bad peer pressures etc.

To have a better world, to have a promising future, we need to stand up and fight against youth crime in our community. Let's say NO to any form of YOUTH CRIMES. . . . .Let's protect our FUTURE

Climate Change and Its Effect

Some of the devastating effects of climate change that we experience in my community are Floods, Storms and Human Displacements etc. We experience more stormy rainfall and when this happens, most of our roads become unbearable, as motorists find it difficult to pass through. Office workers, School children etc find it difficult to move from one place to the other because of this demeaning effect! and the Poor get displaced from their flooded homes! This makes life so uneasy for people living in rural areas. Other effect of climate change is the high risk of Albinos having cancer!
