S-A-S Project

I wouldn't know if you've heard about the S-A-S Project, If not. . .then check this out: www.projects.takingitglobal.org/S-A-S.

S-A-S Project Objective
Organize a 1-day Programme for the Less Priviledged Youths within the Ikeja metropolis, Lagos State.

Purpose of the S-A-S Project
During my course of visiting from one home/school to the other, I discovered that the level of poverty is indeed striking, from the street kids without food, clothing and shelter to those in the remand homes, orphanage homes, villages, prisons and even to those who find themselves priviledged to be in school. Some of these youth live wretchedly with little or no assistances from the Government and fellow men. Although, I am aware that our Nation is too blessed for her citizens to live in penury, yet there is a high level of extreme poverty.

This project is aimed at donating mobility aid appliances to the physically challenged ones and providing of relief materials to the disadvantaged youths in the Society. We look forward to putting a smile on the faces of the less priviledged ones.

Our Target.
Our targets are the street kids, Remand Home children, the physically challenged, Secondary School Students etc

Our Goal
The goal of the S-A-S Project is to inspire, empower and raise a generation of purpose-driven youth in the community and nation at large. It is our utmost desire to contribute to the alleviation of extreme poverty in Nigeria and make real the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

Spiritual Tonic? Whatever. . . . . .

Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine, after the rain,

Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall; But God's always ready, to answer your call,

He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear,

Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, dawn's early light,

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love, .

Let the love of Christ dwell in You richly.

Quotes From Dr. Martin Luther King.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

"There is nothing more dangerous than to build a society with a large segment of people in that society who feel that they have no stake in it; who feel that they have nothing to lose. People who have a stake in their society protect that society, but when they don't have it, they unconsciously want to destroy it."

"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the host of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well. "

"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word. "

"Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral. It is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding; it seeks to annihilate rather than to convert. Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love."

. . . . . .May All Your Dreams Come True

Oops! How Much I love these Young People.

I woke up this morning, giving glory to God for such a Wonderful opportunity to see yet another day!
It's an opportunity to rise up and pursue my dreams of yersterdays and make real my aspirations.

I remembered I got two appointments this morning before getting to the office, but as much as i tried my possible best I was only able to honour one and that was visiting the young people in one of the community Secondary Schools. As usual it was thrilling and delightsome experience. Oops! how much i love these young chaps. I had time to discuss with the School Academic Counselor and we compromised to coming up with Seminars for the Class 6 students.

I remembered the last time I visited this school was last year November! Hence my presence this morning on the assembly ground caused an outburst of excitement amongst them. They must have missed me just as much as I did. It's always my joy and desire to see young people getting fulfulled and successful in their chosen career. I look forward to raising a generation of purpose-driven youth in my community and nation at large. This is my dream, this is my joy.

Always stay tuned and don't forget to join me in making this commitment "Rendering a helping Hand" real. Kindly check it out here: http://commit.takingitglobal.org/273

Stay Blessed.
